The Fairy Who Lost Her Fairy Dust

Once upon a time there was a fairy land where a lot of fairies lived. All the fairies had a name but there was one fairy who did not have a name. She used to be very sad but she knew she had to work hard to own a name. One-day fairy queen asked the nameless fairy to deliver a jar full of pixie fairy dust to the neighbouring fairyland. The nameless fairy was happy to do the job. She took the jar and flew up in the sky. Suddenly strong winds started blowing and the nameless fairy started struggling in the sky. The winds were so strong that the nameless fairy could no longer fly.

Trying to balance the jar  the nameless fairy tried very hard to continue her journey. Soon the strong winds got better of her and the nameless fairy lost her balance and the jar was broken in the mayhem. 

Expecting the jar to be delivered, Fairy Queen called up the Queen of the other fairyland to confirm. She was surprised when she came to know that the jar with pixie dust was never delivered. This made fairy queen very angry and she immediately called up the nameless fairy. The moment the nameless fairy came into the castle the fairy queen asked, where the jar was. This time the nameless fairy did not lie. Though she was very scared, she still told the truth to Queen fairy. The fairy queen was very surprised to see the bravery of the nameless fairy. She appreciated the truth. The fairy queen started clapping for the nameless fairy. She said in loud and clear voice so that everyone in the Castle could hear her. “Listen everyone from today onwards this fairy is not nameless I am giving her name.  She will be called the Brave fairy because she chose to sing the truth.” 

The nameless fairy was shocked but soon she became very happy because now she had a name. From that day onwards everyone in the fairyland knew that the fairy queen love those who always speak the truth. And fairy queen’s favourite fairy was of course the brave fairy. 

Moral of the story - we should never lie to anyone. We should always speak speak the truth.
